Mukka finally climbed to the dizzy heights of a John Peel session in October 2000. He chanced upon them on the Nana Obscuries stage at Glastonbury, where they played after a punk band. Mukka spent a day at the BBC Maida Vale studios recording five new songs not on the Skip Lizard album, featuring guest singer, the Romanian diva from Maramuresh, Dana Codoreau-Berciu. In May 2000 the band were invited back to Charlie Gillett's Saturday Night show on London Live where they shared the limelight with Puerto Rican "ping pong" guest Nava. Charlie has his own website at www.thesoundofthecity.com.
